Manipur: Farmers Attacked in Noney, Khoupum Body Condemns Incident

The Khoupum Area Villages Authority Council and Civil Society Organisations have strongly condemned an alleged attack by suspected Kuki militants on unarmed farmers from Goitang Village under Khoupum Sub-Division in Noney district this morning.

According to the statement issued by the council, three members of a Rongmei Naga family were fired upon with automatic weapons at around 9 AM while working in the fields. The victims have been identified as Kagundai Riamei, his wife Lungdailu Riamei, and their son Gailatou Riamei
