Learn how to drive the Global Mazda MX-5 on Summit Point Raceway in iRacing!

SETUP: The setup I'm using is the standard baseline setup from iRacing - the setup which is on the car when you boot the sim for the first time. It's also the setup you have to use in the Rookie series, which means you already got it and there's no need to download anything.

FAQ:
Track Temps?
I'm driving with the default iRacing settings, which lead to track temperatures between 24-26°C

Assists?
I'm using the auto-clutch assist because it is the most common driving aid for beginners.

Is it faster?
No, using assists costs you time. Auto-clutch in particular about 0,3-,5s per lap. They are coded that way to promote driving without them, and to reward drivers who are not using them.
If you are confident without assists - don't use them!
If you want to have fun and get quickly out of rookies anyway - use auto-clutch!
