We had sold her bike, electric scooter, books, bed and everything else. She had to leave her halloween candy haul the morning after she got it all. She was a trooper and homesick. She wanted one of her favourite meals to comfort her. We stayed at an airbnb for the first bit, then moved into a really shitty apartment with a terrible stove. I couldn’t come through for the little girl. We finally moved into a nice place with a decent stove. It was time to deliver on the promise. How do you make a lasagna in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico?
