The Continental Titan IOX-370: New Engine Day Has Arrived | EP109

New engine day is here! (Eventually.)

We're looking at the final moves prior to accepting delivery of my new experimental aircraft engine, the Continental Titan IOX-370. A fuel injected, 370 cubic inch beast set to provide over 180 horse power to my Van's RV7.

During the wait I tackle a few more little items to get the build even more prepared for new engine day: aileron stops, heater control cable, and more.

One of the main tasks is installing a Hall Effect sensor, an Amploc 100. This tiny, affordable little sensor will allow for better power consumption monitoring. Being a nerd, this data point is exciting to have my hands on, and something I've been curious about for a long time.
