Mk3 Mondeo Sudden loss of power - SOLVED

After the last video where I unsuccessfully tried to change out the air con pump, I took the car out and suffered a significant loss of power. At first I thought it was the stuck EGR valve causing the problem.

As things turned out, it was the simplest fix ever and a 'spanner monkey's' mistake that caused the problem.
