We departed the Canary Islands and headed to Cape Verde islands. Along way the halyard at the top of our parasail gave way and our sail ended up in the water and got tangled around our engine. We safely sailed to the island of Mindelo were we stayed the night, the next day we did more repairs and clean up before we headed out on our final leg across the Atlantic to Saint Martin.
