I fill this about once every other day and my horses have hay to munch on around the clock. This keeps their tummies and their minds happy. Using a slow feeder is a great way to help reduce the chance of ulcers happening, as horse's should never go too long between meals. My horses love this slow feeder and actually prefer it to loose hay.
