Weight Of Not Feeling Good Enough

I didn't necessarily have the urge to paint but once I did, I became immersed and thankful.

I paint on and off but one thing for certain, I always go back to it. I've always painted for myself and while I do love the thought of my art hanging in someone else's home, I have never had the guts to sell my art because deep down, I feel like it's not good enough. I think I have somewhat of a gift but I am well aware I am not the best and this is where my own limiting beliefs stop me. Maybe one day I will have the courage to do a little auction or perhaps my art will stay within my home and close friends and family. Sometimes I do wonder if I'll spend my retirement years with a paint brush in my hand. The idea does sound lovely but then the Sagittarius in me is so fickle with all my hobbies and pastimes... I wish I had more grit !!!
