This Video Explains why do we sleep, and what does science has to say about it, we sleep regularly and we have just accepted the fact that sleep is just part of life.. but do we consider that we do not know much about 33% of our life time.. we usually spend upto 1/3 of our life during sleep and we have very little knowledge about it.

This video is mainly based on the work by Russell Foster who is a circadian neuroscientist: He studies the sleep cycles of the brain. And he asks: What do we know about sleep? Not a lot, it turns out, for something we do with one-third of our lives. In this talk, Foster shares three popular theories about why we sleep, busts some myths about how much sleep we need at different ages -- and hints at some bold new uses of sleep as a predictor of mental health.

He delivered a TED Talk in which he explained how much sleep is important for our bodies and how many theories science has on sleeping
