Should you borrow money for trading?

A lot of traders have their first (false) start trading by borrowing some money to do so. Even I did this! You probably can guess my opinion: don't do it! It's an almost surefire way to lose someone else's money.

Your trading psychology when using someone else's money isn't the same as when you're risking your own. It's stressful enough to trade with your own money, but now you've lost someone else's and have to pay it back if you're borrowing it. Your stress will be multiplied when you're using someone else's money.
