How to read the amount of spin (with Mark Mitchell)

In this video, pro coach Mark Mitchell explains how to read the amount of spin when playing table tennis.

Most players are able to see when an opponent plays a push or topspin stroke. But do you know how much spin your opponent is actually putting on the ball?

Mark explains how to read heavy backspin, light backspin and float. He also explains how to read heavy topspin, medium topspin and light topspin.

Mark's tips will help you read spin better, so you can play the appropriate stroke.

Mark is an ex-England International with 55 caps. During his playing career he won a European Team Bronze Medal and the National League Team Title twice. He also won the Portuguese Open and Icelandic Open. He was the GB Paralympic Coach for over 18 years, attending 4 Paralympic Games and numerous World and European Championships.
