This is the one and only and most honored landmark of Vienna – The Giant Ferris Wheel – a world-famous symbol of the Prater Amusement Park! This Ferris Wheel was opened in 1897 and destroyed in world war, yet it was rebuilt one year later.

The wheel is a giant metal construction with 15 gondolas.

It is worth a visit, not only because of its iconic status but also because of the wonderful views over the city and area around as well as over the whole amusement park!
