To be priced between INR 15-17 lakhs, the vehicle will be sold in three variants - XM, XM+ and aXM+ Lux. The topmost version will offer leatherette seats and a sunroof with auto headlights and wipers, while the base version will have to do without a touchscreen and alloy wheels.

The electric SUV is rated for 312 Kilometres on a full charge and should do 230-240 Kilometres on a fully charged battery in real-world conditions. The 30.2 KwH battery can power the motors to push the car from O-60 in 4.6 seconds and 0-100 in 9.9 seconds. The motor develops 129 PS of power and 245 NM of torque, where the sports mode lets enthusiasts enjoy the delivery to the fullest.

The battery can be charged from 20% to 100% in 8 hours using a home charger and and in one hour for the same, using a DC charger. The car is offered with a 8/year warranty and is slightly firmly suspended to aid handling.

The Nexon EV competes against the Hyundai Kona and the MG ZS EV in the all-electric SUV space.
