Ala Wai Canal Walk Talk Tour January 30, 2022 Oahu Hawaii Virtual Walk. We begin our walk at the Ala Wai Neighborhood Park. We take the Ala Wai Park Trail and walk along the Ala Wai Canal headed towards Diamond Head. The walkway changes to Iolani School Trail with the Palolo and Manoa Stream waterway on the right and Iolani School driveway on the left (which turns in to Laau Street). We make a right at Date St and continue until we get to the bus stop right before Kapahulu Ave and turn down the pathway behind Side Street Inn and with Ala Wai Golf Course on the right. The path comes out next to Kapahulu Ave and we take this until we turn right at Ala Wai Blvd. We walk this all the way down to McCully St and turn right and then after the bridge we turn right into Ala Community Park parking lot and walk along the Ala Wai Canal on the Ala Wai Park Trail until we get back to Ala Wai Neighborhood Park parking lot.
