Tracking Down a Bike Thief as Thefts Rise at Alarming Rate
Bike thefts have seen a significant increase during the pandemic; such thefts have risen 30% in New York City alone. Jamie Kim told Inside Edition her $600 bike was stolen. Edit Nagay told Inside Edition she has had three bikes stolen, including one incident that was caught on surveillance video as the bandit rode off. Inside Edition’s Investigative Unit decided to find out just how long it would take for a $2,300 bike to get stolen.
