Materials:
Size 4 acrylic yarn in any color of your choice
Size 4.5 crochet hook
Scissors
Small amount of fiber fill

This specific crochet wind spinner measures roughly 42 inches. But this pattern is easily customizable to any length by simply changing the starting chain count to your preference. Stitch count isn’t all that important for this small project. The pattern is the same for any length 😊🧶

Wind Spinner:
Ch 121 (leave a long tail for hanging before starting your chains)
R1.) starting in 2nd chain from the hook, do 1 sc in each chain across. Ch1 turn.
R2.) 3sc in ea st across. Ch2 turn.
R3.) [2dc in first st, ch1, sk1, 2dc in next st, ch1, sk1…and so forth] repeat this pattern across. Sl st into last st. Ch1 turn.
R4.) We will be creating the shells into the ch1 gaps from R3. In first ch1 gap do 4dc,picot,3dc all in the gap, then 1sc in the next gap. Repeat pattern across. Shell in every other gap with a sc in between. End your round with a sl st in last st, F/O and leave a long tail for sewing.

Ball ornament:
R1.) 6sc in MR
R2.) 6inc (12)
R3.) 1sc,1inc around (18)
R4-5.) 1sc (18)
R6.) 1sc,1dec around (12)
R7.) 6dec
F/O then lightly stuff your ornament, sew small opening close.

Use the long tail from the end of the wind spinner to sew on the ornament!
