Budget-conscious buyers rejoice! In this review, we’re taking a look at the AmazonBasics Slim Carry On Travel Backpack Weekender—a simple backpack with some quality hardware and durability at an incredible price point.

At the time of this review, we've been testing the AmazonBasics Slim Carry On Travel Backpack Weekender for just over two months. It’s been used as a go-to tech daypack and a carry-on bag for one-bag travel on U.K.-to-U.S. transatlantic flights, and we're really pleased to report that there are no major signs of wear and tear as of yet.

Overall, the AmazonBasics Slim Carry On Travel Backpack Weekender is a lot of bag for the price. After being slightly disappointed with the larger and more budget-friendly version of this pack, we’re glad to see some upgrades made to make this version slimmer and sleeker. In addition to the accessible price point, the Weekender bag uses high-quality hardware and has held up well during two months of rigorous testing. Though it’s not the fanciest pack on the market and does feel cheap and over-designed in some areas, it’s a solid bag that has great versatility as a large tech daypack or one-bag carry-on travel backpack.
