Cheetah mother hunts springbuck

This is a true testimony that waking up early for safari is worth it.We departed super early this particular morning and headed for the southern plains.We knew this was the area a mother cheetah with her 5 cubs called home.

We found some springbuck grazing in a distance and decided to scan the rocky outcrops for the Cheetah.

Not long after we stopped we spotted her just in time as she was already stalking the springbuck we where looking at.She picked out the individual on the edge of the group.

Running at him she caught him completely by surprise as her stalk was perfect.Just like that the hunt was over and when she killed him she called her cubs.

They came running down the hill and started playing on the springbuck, super excited about the successful hunt.

One thing I will never forget is how this mother cheetah always raised her cubs with success.... SUPER MOM
