The close range benefits of low magnification scopes 🔭🎯

All to often we are at a gun shop and someone (99% of the time a guy) walks up to the clerk and wants to buy a scope. The clerk will almost always ask an intelligent question such as “what do you want to do with it?” And the guy(s) always same the same thing “hunt, shoot at the range” then the clerk will ask “do you have anything in mind your looking for?” And the guy(s) will always respond “the biggest one possible “…that is terrible ignorance. For example if you buy a scope that starts at 5x your targets better start no closer than 50 yards. Whereas if you get a 1x or a 1.5x as shown in the video, or a 2X is ok, and sometimes you can get away with a 2.5x now you can actually see the close up target. I.e. deer, hog, assailant…U10
