On the second day of her charity trip to Pakistan, Britain's Princess Diana toured the cancer hospital she's helping to raise funds for. The Princess is launching a 17-million dollar appeal in aid of the hospital built by Pakistan's former cricketing captain Imran Khan. Khan and his British-born wife Jemima accompanied the Princess as she met patients and hospital staff. The hospital - built in 1994 - was partly destroyed by a terrorist bomb last April - which killed six people. The Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital in the Pakistani city of Lahore was built three years ago with charity money raised by national cricket hero Imran Khan. Khan set up the hospital fund in memory of his mother who'd died of cancer.

Diana, Princess of Wales attended the biggest ever production staged in Britain of Swan Lake. The princess saw 120 members of the English National Ballet perform the classic in-the-round at London's Royal Albert Hall. Diana is patron of the ballet company, which currently stars Altynai Asylmuratova, the prima ballerina of the Kirov Ballet, and Roberto Bolle from Milan's Teatro alla Scala in his British debut.
