Today we're looking at the historical appearance and clothing of Native Americans in the American West. For this week I used a variety of photo archives from the late-1800s, the Library of Congress' Newspaper Archives, and the primary source, 'The Annual Report of the Commissioner of Indian Affairs, for the year 1898.' As for secondary sources, I used S.C. Gwynne's 'Empire of the Summer Moon,' and Andy Russel's 'Trails of a Wilderness Wanderer.' I recommend both books highly.

About Man vs History: Man vs History is a YouTube channel that endeavors to combine both education and entertainment, specifically related to history.
