Let's Play Rayman 2... The Great Escape? Forever? (Game Boy Color) Ep. 1: More of the same

I LOVE THIS GAME!!!

Welcome to the next Rayman game for the Game Boy Color, Rayman 2... The Great Escape? Forever? What exactly is this game called??

So, I am from the USA, and this game has always for me been a red cartridge from a red box, and it only sahs "Rayman 2" on said box and cartridge. But when reading the manual and booting up the game, it says "Rayman 2: The Great Escape." This makes sense, as the console version of Rayman 2 is called "The Great Escape" as well. However, for others in different regions, it is a green box and green cartridge that both say "Rayman 2 Forever." For future episodes, I will just call it "Rayman 2" for Game Boy Color in the title to keep it from being excessive, but still include both "Forever" and "The Great Escape" in tags and description.

The gameplay is the same as the first Game Boy Color game, with the addition of switches that turn off electric barriers, a new climbable surface and animation, and switching to lumz to be consistent with the console version of Rayman 2 (which is most definitely subtitled "The Great Escape.") I own the Nintendo 64 version, and it is much more difficult than this game here!

In this game, each world is now only three levels long, and there is only one bonus level per world. Much more consistent than the first game!
