The QB Search is Over (for now) - Ryan Fitzpatrick Breakdown - QB1 for the Washington Football Team

The Ryan Fitzmagic train is making a stop in Washington. We no longer have to discuss all the possible options. Instead, we now know who the new QB is for the Washington Football Team.

Ryan Fitzpatrick will act as a solid stopgap for a season while Washington continues it's search for their QB of the future. On the back of a strong defense, Fitzpatrick will give this team a chance to win games.

There's a chance Washington still trades up in the draft for a QB but I think it only happens if one of the guys they like slides. We'll see what the future holds.

What we do know is that Fitzpatrick will attack downfield which is exactly what Scott Turner wants from his QB in his version of the Air Coryell system. Last year's QBs either didn't have experience, accuracy or mentality to consistently do that. Fitzpatrick does. If nothing else, we'll watch some fun offensive games in 2021!
