Lyke-Wake Dirge (Villain MAP (OCs)) || Part 1A, 23B, 13C (cw in desc.)

Finally a video with my main OCs that actually matches the tone of their story lol. The last few have been way too cheerful.

So the idea behind this MAP was that each participant would take one short part from each section of the map to try to tell a story. Admittedly, even though it's a villian MAP, I used an OC who's more of a morally gray antagonist, and there are more shots featuring the protagonist.
The female OC in this (Lynn) is the same one who was prominently featured in my Coastline part. These parts are a very abridged retelling of it, but they focus on her relationship with her father, Atticus. He was a kinda-cult like leader in a secluded city-state responsible for some pretty shitty stuff. When his only child, Lynn, is still very young, he fakes his death and runs away to the outside world (Part 1A). Years and years later, everyone else he's ever know has died except for Lynn and some of her friends, and Lynn as an adult runs back into her father by chance. While she thought positively of him as a child, she's since come to see him more critically, and upon finding out he's alive she's pissed off at him for abandoning her family and specifically her mother (23B). He assumes she would be happy to see him and enthusiastic to go along with his schemes, but is baffled to find out she's an adult with her own thoughts and opinions. Tensions continue to rise between them, especially over his treatment of his niece (and Lynn's cousin), Kenzie (the girl with glasses). After a ton of plot build up (that I'm too lazy to get in to) he snaps and hits Kenzie, causing Lynn to lose her shit and try to kill him, and the two to get into a fight. I'll leave the rest for a future project I want to do with these two.
