"Propositions #9: Deserting from the Culture Wars", part of BAK's long-term trajectory "Propositions for Non-Fascist Living" (2017-2020), took place from 13-17 November 2019 at BAK, and consisted of trainings, lectures, and panel discussions. The program, organized as a temporary spin-off of BAK's exhibition project "Trainings for the Not-Yet", sought to bring together artists, theorists, and writers in a range of formats, to actively reflect upon this current moment of ever-more polarizing ideological combat, also referred to as the “culture wars.” How are these culture wars defined and waged?
