After tearing up his left shin on the heavily pinned Catalyst pedals one day as he exited the trike, Hobo Steve became determined to find a way to never experience that painful sensation, and subsequent recuperation, again. Here is his simple method that he hopes will work every time.

Steve's current recumbent trike is a 2021 HP Velotechnik Scorpion fs26 Enduro, outfitted with Schwalbe Marathon PLUS road tires instead of the stock knobby off-road tires.
