Outer Hebrides Road Trip | Uist Harris and Lewis

This week we are in the Outer Hebrides exploring the islands of Uist, Harris and Lewis in our self converted camper van. It’s spectacular and if you are thinking about a UK staycation this summer, you might want to consider these islands as a destination.

We visit ancient sites, standing stone circles and rugged cliff tops. We eat pizza with a loch view and enjoy some of the UK’s top rated beaches. To top it all off, we are lucky enough to have a local tour guide take us deep into some woodland where we bump into a bear…. What, you say, a bear? YES, we say, over there!!!!
