Paint Horse or Pinto...what is the difference?

UPDATE (10/19/18) -- There is some confusion here I didn't anticipate. Let me preface this video by saying it was created to answer this question from the perspective of how to correctly refer to Paint and Pinto in the United States. There are differences in terminology in other countries. The information here is correct to the best of my knowledge based on breeding, training, and showing APHA horses in the United States. ALSO, please note, the Pinto registry (in the USA) has opened it's books to miniatures and draft types since the creation of this video.
