Here are the rules to Colourbrain!

Teams start with 11 different colour cards. The questions can be answered with one or a number of these cards. Teams also get one Colour Catcher card, which helps them rein in the leading team later on.

The game begins with a question. Example: “What colour is Charlie Brown’s shirt?” Teams choose which card (or cards) to play and then put them face down on the table. The first team to do this shouts “Colourbrain!”. The other teams now have 10 seconds to follow
suit. All teams flip over their cards and the Question Card is turned over to reveal the answer.

Scoring is quite unusual. If all teams get the answer right, then no one scores but 1 point rolls over to the next card. If 3 out of 4 teams get it right, then they score 1 point. If 2 out of 4 get it right then they score
2 points. If 1 out of 4 teams get it right they score 3 points - one for each team that got it wrong. The first team to earn 10 points is the winner.
