Moving Roadway Striping from Civil 3D to InfraWorks

One of the easiest ways to move roadway striping geometry from Civil 3D to InfraWorks is to export the entities as SHP files and then import them to InfraWorks as coverage areas. Even though coverage areas are typically associated with closed shapes, by simply adding a buffer they can also be a great tool for displaying/visualizing linear geometry.
