Truck Stuck in the Surf -- Delray Beach Florida iPhone 11 Pro Video

An early morning drive turned into a nightmare for a driver who said he accidentally drove his pickup truck onto the beach at Casuarina Road in Delray Beach, Florida.The disoriented driver drove between the surf and a natural sand wall and his tires dug in. Locals helped move beach chairs so a city crew could dispatch a massive front end loader to haul out the marooned truck. At a couple of points, it looked like the front end loader itself might get stuck, but the driver managed to wiggle it out of the sand. Kudos to the Delray Beach workers who knew just what to do. It seems about once a month a driver careens onto the beach at Casuarina Drive -- in part because there's a traffic light and a short stretch of road there. Might be time for better signage.
