The Bible Contest: 2021 Finals

Sponsored by the World Zionist Organization, this lively event is hosted by Robbie Harris (JTS professor and biblical scholar) and contains remarks by Deborah Isaac of the AZM. It is essentially a contest amongst amateur Tanach experts (the selections are taken from both Prophets and the Writings, in addition to the Torah) who have to answer non-multiple choice questions about quotes from the Hebrew Bible. Their erudition is stunning, and eventually a winner and a runner-up emerge and are crowned. Also, there is a musical performance of Hatikvah by singer Rahamim Shiro.
