Abandoned engineering military equipment
Abandoned engineering military equipment
The engineer troops are a kind of troops of the Armed Forces of the USSR and the Russian Federation intended for engineering support: equipment of the territory of military operations, engineering reconnaissance and escort of troops (forces) in the offensive and so on. In fact, the engineer troops carry out a wide range of tasks, the most important of which are, perhaps, the creation of ways in the means of barring the enemy - from mine fields to fortification obstacles, radio - electronic combat and
provision of infrastructure - from household to protective facilities. With the change in the appearance of the armed forces, the revision of many doctrines (primarily the reduction in the impact of the threat of nuclear weapons), as well as outright obsolescence and the deterioration of technology and infrastructure, many facilities including engineering troops began to be reduced. Let's look at one of the storage areas of equipment on a hot summer day for a moment before recycling.
All these amazing cars stood for many years under the open sky, slowly decomposing. Alas, as in almost any non-indicative part, proper storage and maintenance was not provided, and all this beautiful, but very outdated technique, as a result, was written off and disposed of. However, it is worth noting that mechanics from many dead cars have collected one alive and all this now constitutes a battalion of providing the educational process, which can not but rejoice.
