Metz Amplifier Repair Fail - Fake STK 0050 Replacement shorts in seconds (Part 2)

As you saw in part 1 of the repair after some troubleshooting we discovered that the darlington power pack of the right's channel output stage was shorted so i went ahead and ordered a replacement to fix the problem. Although the problem was obvious and there was no other issue than the pack, the new replacement got short at the start up of an amp. The only solution to this, is to find a stk 0050 pcb that uses descrete components for the output stage.

Anyway i am pretty sad that this repair did not end well but still we learned quite a few things!
