The Most Succulent Poached Salmon - Keto Recipe # 2

This healthy quick easy poached salmon recipe is 100% paleo and great for keto dieters. The cooked salmon is very flavorful and succulent.

For 16 oz salmon fillet, you will make 4 servings. Per serving:
148 calorie, 2 g carb, 8 g fat, 19 g protein

Recipe:
Ingredients:
salmon fillet with skin (~ 16 oz)
salt and pepper
half onion chopped
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 lemon juiced and sliced
2 bay leaves
Fresh or dry herbs ( oregano, thyme, rosemary, basil)
Apple cider vinegar
Olive oil

Cooking instructions:
Step 1: season the salmon with black pepper and salt and let it sit.
Step 2: Pour water into a pot and add in 1 tbsp of olive oil and 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar. Add in rest of the ingredients into the water as salmon poaching stock. Turn the stove to high heat and let the stock boil.
Step 3: once the stock boils, turn the stove to low heat. Put the salmon into the stock skin side down, and let it simmer in the stock for 4 to 5 min.
Step 4: After 4 to 5 min, turn the stove off. Take the pot off the stove and let the salmon sit in the stock until the stock is lukewarm. Takes about 45 min.
Step 5: Take the salmon out of the stock and pair it with any vegetables you desire or sweet potatoes. If you smell the salmon, you can tell that it has absorbed all of the flavoring from the stock. Enjoy this succulent glistening paleo keto healthy recipe.
