EMIGRAH: The band is made up of Tricity artists from Poland who are connected by their fascination with the world music scene. It presents intercultural dialogue using songs collected during travels to various parts of the world. Through music band tries to learn about cultures and at the same time discover his identity and roots. The group presents music as an element that is not subject to the laws of time or geographical divisions and with a wide range of possibilities combines what seems to be incompatible. The band's music proves that there are no barriers between faiths, regions and languages. It consists of six members using rich instrumentation. One of the characteristic elements of its music is traditional white singing entwined with the sound of instruments of various origins. In the work you can also hear a large variety of rhythms - from the triple rhythms characteristic of Polish traditional music, through the odd Balkan rhythms, ending with Arabic makama and Hindu konnakole. The group is looking for new sounds through a unique combination of instruments from all around the world presenting traditional music in their own arrangements. The band is an ambassador of both Slavic and Eastern music.
