Hillsong Worship - Remembrance (Drum Cover)

"Remembrance" is from the Hillsong Worship album, There Is More. It is a powerful song of reflection. For me the lyrics help me center my attention and gratitude on what really matters. This has the remarkable result of peace of mind.

From a drumming perspective, this mellow song has some powerful, unique arrangements such as doubling up 16th notes on the snare and floor tom and then alternating accent patterns between them. I really enjoyed learning the drum part for this song and other songs on this album. I hope you enjoy this cover. Oh, I also was able to combine some footage of our recent trip to Hawaii where we spent Christmas with my wife's family. The footage is from our hike up Makapu'u point on Oahu. Useless trivia: the second video shows Makapu'u beach and in the distance is the house used in the 1980s TV show Magnum, P.I. I searched and found this house back when my wife and I were dating. Haha!
