Nation Update: Tree planting at Eden Lodge Nursery

Eden Lodge Nursery School will soon have its own fruit farm.
Junior Chamber International (JCI), in partnership with the National Botanical Gardens, gifted the St Michael school with several trees as part of its national greening initiative.
Director of the Botanical Gardens, Nigel Jones, a tree scientist, helped plant guava, sour sop, sugar apple, cherry and passion fruit trees during a special ceremony.
Executive vice-president of JCI, Sabrina Bovell, said they were celebrating their 64th anniversary and the tree-planting was part of their environmental outreach programme.
