The photographs were taken by a German photographer and published in Germany under the title "Moscow 1920". These pictures are particularly interesting as they do not concentrate solely on the famous landmarks of the city but show the daily lives of the citizens as well. Many of the historical buildings are remain intact, before many would disappear during the 1930's.
