¿Cómo dar instrucciones informales en español? || The IMPERATIVE to GIVE INSTRUCTIONS

Rice is very important for a Colombian. That is why in today's video we will show you how we make rice at home as we show you how to give informal instructions in Spanish.

To give informal instructions (or any kind of instructions) you will need a grammar mood called "the imperative". Use it not only to give instructions but also to ask for favors and give suggestions! (very useful when you are watching your favorite TV show, feel lazy to move and realize you left the remote control in the other room, for example).

To give an informal instruction you simply need to think of the conjugation for "él" or "ella" and say it like you mean it. For instance, if you want Juan to run, just tell him "corre". If you want Mariana to eat, simply tell her "come".

As usual, we also have our friends (read with sarcasm): the irregular verbs. These will be different and won't be as simple as conjugating them for him or her.

Some examples are: Poner: pon; Hacer: Haz; Tener; ten; Decir; di: Ser: sé. Of course, there are more, but you'll be fine for now just learning five at a time ;)
