The Noble Awards 2015-CAF and Robin Williams

On February 27, 2015, The Noble Awards honored the work of Celebrity Humanitarians and recognized the organizations that they support. The purpose of this unprecedented event is to inspire individuals to become champions of social progress.

Robin Williams was posthumously awarded in the Activism in Sports category for his work with CAF (The Challenged Athletes Foundation). Williams was a constant presence at CAF’s yearly Triathlon in San Diego where he would inspire others to take part in future races. Accepting the award on William’s behalf was Scott Tinley and Rudy Garcia.

The award was presented by Williams’ daughter Zelda, who reminisced about her father and his giving heart.
