Queen - Keep Passing The Open Windows (Early Demo)

This version of Keep Passing The Open Windows comes from an unknown generation working tape from the 'The Works' sessions.

Munich in 1983 was a busy period for the band. Queen progressed on their album The Works and simultaneously Freddie was working on tracks for his first solo album Mr. Bad Guy. Quite a few songs, such as Man Made Paradise and There Must Be More To Life Than This, could have ended up on either project; both Queen and Freddie solo takes exist. A cassette tape, originating from Freddie's personal assistant Peter Freestone has since been leaked amongst the trading community with six songs from this time period in Munich (New York, two versions of Keep Passing The Open Windows, Coming On Far Too Strong, an instrumental of the aforementioned track, and Sorry / You Are The Only One).
This demo is a very early piano and a cappella performance by Freddie. There are no lyrics yet, just Freddie improvising melodies.

Freddie Mercury - lead and backing vocals, piano, synthesizer
