1. Overview
Programming Software: Connected Components Workbench (CCW)
Programming Languages Supported:
Ladder Diagram (LD)
Step 1: Create a New Project
Open CCW → File → New Project
Select Micro850 or Micro870 controller.
Assign a project name and location.
Click Finish.
🔄 2. Basic Ladder Logic Example
Example 1: Start/Stop Motor Logic
Objective:
When the Start button is pressed, the motor turns ON and remains ON until the Stop button is pressed.
Inputs/Outputs
I:0/0 → Start Push Button
I:0/1 → Stop Push Button
O:0/0 → Motor Output
Ladder Logic:

The Start button is a normally open contact.
The Stop button is normally closed.
The Motor coil has a self-hold contact in parallel with Start.
Timer ON Delay
Turn on a lamp after a 5-second delay when a switch is ON.

O:0/1 → Lamp
T4:0 → Timer (TON)
