Gore Verbinski's remake to the 1998 Japanese thriller, RINGU, is widely considered to be one of the best horror remakes ever made (and for good reason). THE RING did very well at the box-office and paved the way for several more American remakes of Japanese horror films. I've included my favorite scenes from the movie.
