73 years after Patrick Thomas’ British Navy ship went down during World War II, fate brings complete stranger, former rocker and current archeologist, John Henry Phillips, into Patrick’s life.

John was on his way to one of many WWII celebration events. By chance, his accommodations were mixed up and he found himself without a place to stay. Thankfully, a kind old veteran by the name of Patrick Thomas offered John his spare room. A wonderful and unique friendship was to bloom over the next years. Fueled by their unexpected bond, John makes a shocking promise to find Patrick’s ship and launch a memorial with the veteran by his side.

When John impulsively made this promise to Patrick he had no idea where to begin to start building a permanent memorial. No one knew where the ship is, and there are almost no records to help find it. John didn’t even know how to scuba dive. Undeterred, realizing the age of his friend and the gravity of his promise, the adventure to search for the missing ship and to build a permanent memorial begins.
