DJI Spark mid-air GPS failure and loss of control

Some footage from a flight a couple of days ago - the idea was to just hover a bit at about 50 meters altitude and take some overhead shots.

The Spark was brand new and had just been calibrated a couple of flights earlier, GPS signal was strong, home point was set, all batteries full and very short flying distance.

Still, something started to go seriously wrong after about 3 1/2 minutes of flight.

UPDATE SEPT. 2020: After trying all kinds of solutions and workarounds, it seems that degaussing the drone and then recalibrating the compass and IMU solved the problem. I used this inexpensive demagnetizer: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_dVtoyFB
