NATO launched "Baltic Sentry" to protect undersea infrastructure and "Eastern Sentry" to reinforce the eastern flank after Russian drone incursions. Both missions use advanced drone technology to enhance readiness across all domains. Support for Ukraine remained a priority, with Allies providing military, humanitarian, and non-lethal aid. In February 2025, a joint training center was established in Poland. Later, NATO launched an initiative to supply Ukraine with U.S. military equipment funded by Allies. NATO also worked with partners on long-term security guarantees for Ukraine. Rutte concluded that 2025 marked a "new chapter," with NATO now stronger, more united, and better prepared.
