The Surface Pro X features the new Microsoft SQ1 ARM processor that delivers decent performance, but unfortunately doesn't support x86 Windows apps.

The iPad Pro features Apple's top-of-the-line A12X ARM chip, which supports iPadOS and all of its apps, but does not support full desktop Mac apps.

It also lacks mouse and cursor support, which is a major upside with the Surface Pro X, which features a trackpad on its keyboard case.

They both feature pretty good displays, but the one on the Surface has a couple of issues.
