On a recent morning walk with my dogs, I was pleasantly surprised to see this mysterious plant’s explosive colors and structure. I had to do an online search, which suggested it is “Jamaican Cerasee| Asosi | Bitter Melon|Momordica Charanti” that I knew nothing about until now. Do you know about it?
Another site stated: “The ripe cerasee fruit opens automatically, more or less irregularly, into three valves that curl backward revealing sticky, scarlet red, fleshy covering seeds that are edible and sweet.”
I didn’t try that. I mean I didn’t try eating it. Curling backwards I know I can’t do. Have you? I mean eaten it, not curled yourself backwards. 😃
