“Original handmade acoustic music”, that’s the motto of the stage duo Danjo from Freiburg. With double bass, guitar, harmonica and vocals, they come across as surprisingly simple at first glance. If you listen more closely, all elements skilfully intertwine and create a sound that you would otherwise expect from a multi-headed band. Virtuoso harmonica and guitar sounds are accompanied by a rich bass and a sophisticated duet. „Original handmade acoustic-music“, das ist das Motto des Bühnenduos Danjo aus Freiburg. Mit Kontrabass, Gitarre, Mundharmonika und Gesang kommen sie auf den ersten Blick überraschend einfach daher. Hört man genauer hin, greifen alle Elemente gekonnt ineinander und erzeugen einen Sound, den man sonst von einer mehrköpfigen Band erwarten würde. Virtuose Mundharmonika- und Gitarrenklänge werden von einem satten Bass und einer ausgefeilten Zweistimmigkeit untermalt.
